04 / Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before starting a technical relationship.

Each proposal takes precedence over this general guidance. Scope, responsibilities and conditions are confirmed for the specific project.

01

Company and coverage

Basic information for framing a commercial relationship.

How long has MIET existed?
The company was established in 2015 in Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia and reaches 11 years of business history in 2026.
Where does MIET serve clients?
We serve commercial relationships in 21 countries across Central America, South America and Europe. Our head office is in Bogotá, we have an office in Madrid and our registered domicile remains in Envigado; operational feasibility is confirmed for each project.
Does MIET work with large organisations?
The offer is designed for engagement with airlines, operators, MROs, manufacturers, plants and corporations. A specific commercial relationship is confirmed through a proposal and contract.
02

Services and regulation

Important limits for interpreting the offer.

Does MIET replace an authority or approved organisation?
No. Consulting and engineering do not replace approvals, licences, releases or responsibilities assigned by regulation.
Is MIET a carrier or certified MRO?
The site does not claim those approvals. When a scope requires an approved operator or organisation, work is coordinated with the authorised party and responsibilities are defined.
Does MIET sell proprietary software?
Yes. MIET develops and licenses DocuManage and other proprietary platforms for managing and distributing technical information. It may also integrate authorised client or third-party components, transparently identified in each proposal.
03

Proposals and delivery

How a project begins and remains controlled.

What information should I send?
Objective, context, location, stage, available sources, constraints, required date and owner. Do not send confidential information before agreeing an appropriate channel.
Can you quote without an assessment?
An estimate may be possible when information is sufficient. Complex scopes may require a discovery or survey stage.
Do you provide 24/7 support?
Not as a general condition. Hours, availability, mobilisation, support and service levels are agreed in writing.
