Teams that may benefit.
Maintenance, production, engineering, quality, technical procurement, equipment manufacturers and MRO organisations, subject to criticality and applicable requirements.
06 / Tooling, fabrication and machining
We frame tooling and component needs around function, environment, materials and how the result will be verified.
The problem we structure
Obsolete parts, imported tools with long lead times, incomplete information or special applications require requirements to be reconstructed before fabrication. MIET connects capture, design, process selection and delivery control.
Typical deliverables
The final proposal selects and adjusts these deliverables. None is assumed automatically.
Requirement, function and operating-condition brief
Dimensional capture or digitisation where applicable
Model, drawing and material or process specification
Manufacturability review and inspection plan
Prototype or fabricated component as scoped
Dimensional record and handover dossier
Coordination of expressly contracted external testing
Maintenance, production, engineering, quality, technical procurement, equipment manufacturers and MRO organisations, subject to criticality and applicable requirements.
Process industry, manufacturing, asset maintenance, infrastructure and non-critical or duly authorised aviation applications.
Service method
The sequence adapts to the context while keeping ownership, reviews and closure criteria visible.
Use, loads, environment, interfaces and criticality.
Geometry, material, process, tolerances and verification.
Route, controls, changes and records.
Agreed inspection, documentation and conditions of use.
FAQ
It may be assessed through reverse engineering. Function, criticality, rights, material, tolerances and acceptance method are defined before fabrication; a sample alone may not be sufficient.
Traceability or testing is defined in the proposal. Any third-party certificate must come from an identified provider competent for the required test.
Feasibility depends on criticality, approved data, traceability, authorised organisations and the applicable framework. This website does not present MIET as an approved aviation manufacturer.
